MFA Undersecretary of State Robert Grey held talks with Angel Gurría, Secretary-General of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) in Paris on Wednesday.

“Through our active involvement in the work of the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development we would like to show that our country is an incubator of good solutions which can be applied to other states and that we do not see ourselves only in the role of recipient, but that we are prepared to share our experience with others and to offer our support,” said Undersecretary of State Robert Grey.

In the context of this year’s 20th anniversary of Poland’s membership of the OECD, Deputy Minister Robert Grey emphasized that Poland has benefitted from the work of the organisation, but that it has also contributed significantly to its achievements. Robert Grey also announced that our country will get even more involved in different initiatives and projects undertaken by the OECD. The organisation’s cooperation with third countries and development assistance continue to be Poland’s priorities.
