The OECD with the cooperation with Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Poland organises on the 25 September 2017 in Lublin (Poland) a seminar “Supporting Decentralisation in Ukraine: Public Service Delivery at the Local Level: the case of Poland”.

The participants will discuss good practices and policy approaches to support better public service delivery at local levels, drawing from the experience of Poland. The case studies on waste management and the transport sectors will show how Poland has effectively decentralised resources, responsibilities and tasks to cities.

This seminar is the sixth in a series held over the course of the project “Supporting decentralization in Ukraine” run by the OECD and co-financed by the European Union, and the governments of the Czech Republic, Flanders (Belgium), and Poland.
