    Minister of Foreign Affairs Witold Waszczykowski presented to the Council of Ministers last year’s achievements of Polish diplomacy and outlined the “Polish foreign policy priorities in 2017” which were adopted by the government.

    The report presented by Minister Witold Waszczykowski covers in detail the activities of Polish diplomacy for the coming twelve months and is confidential. The text contains the assessment of Poland’s international environment and enumerates detailed tasks of Polish foreign policy for the ministry and its diplomatic missions abroad. On this basis in the coming weeks the foreign minister will present to the Sejm his information on the objectives of Polish foreign policy for the current year.

     

     

    Among the key Polish foreign policy orientations in 2017 are: security, strong position of Poland in Europe and the European Union, regional integration, Eastern policy, Poland’s global and economic interests in the world, consular matters and Polish community abroad.
